What do you think of Cal Newport's "slow productivity"? I've tried to follow what he means multiple times and all I get is it's an alternative to Flow which is not always possible.
Another book you might find interesting is Chris Palmer's Brain Energy which suggests mental health issues are from mitochondrial damage. I remember your reviews of Obesity Code, which got me onto this whole diet and fasting thing, and it makes me think you'd like this.
The only times I can hit flow states are early morning or dusk. Which is very weird. So I slot any kind of deepwork at 8 am on workdays and can barely eke out a two hour slot where I hope to hit focus. Even that becomes difficult if there is an urgent thing or stressful events (something went wrong and there is a ping). The period from 11am to 5 pm is impossible for me to hit flow.

largely same for me, though i find that on some days after sustained effort in the afternoon i hit flow by around 4
i'm not aware of any g ood podcast on ADHD. most of the US-focussed ones are not relevant for me.
